Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Proprietor Of Mobile Pet Salon In Hillsborough

James Taylor has expressed concern about what happened to his 5-pound dog JUJU last weekend. Taylor claims that a groomer taped Jujur’s mouth shut when it was bitten. This resulted in the dog looking bloody and being distressed.

Taylor recalled, "My dog clearly was in distress. What I thought was a muff turned out to just be tape. Jujur's feet were visible red and damaged, with toenails that were too close to paws. This likely triggered Jujur biting.

Puppy Lux, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.

James took Juju immediately to the vet for immediate medical attention. In joining other individuals who have also made similar claims, he has accused Puppy lux of animal abuse. San Mateo has launched an investigation to determine if the company is guilty of animal cruelty.

James described what he saw. "I noticed injuries near the joints, in the neck area, and around the genital areas." The cuts were severe enough to cause bleeding."

Jack Smithr is a Puppy Lux customer who posted a Yelp Review about his pet being returned injured or ill. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.

PuppyLux wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. James stated, "Jonny informed to me that the use of tape to close the mouth is acceptable and normal. He claims it is preferred to using a mute, which is harmful to dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his own dog."

Fox contacted Puppy Lux, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. When animal abuse documentary asked about Puppylux, the woman quickly stated that it is a separate entity. Then she abruptly ended her call.
